What more could you ask for? Bethany Hamilton is a fervent supporter of disadvantaged children around the world. A % of the profit from the purchase of any product in her range is donated to World Vision, her chosen charity. World Vision are currently trying to do all they can for the children in Burma following the devastation caused by the recent cyclone. Sorry, guys, Quiksilver have left you out, but for the girls they've asked a master French perfumer to come up with this lovely floral fragrance with a hint of citrus so that it isn't too sugary! We've got a REALLY limited number of long, 100cm banners and large 2ml mini samples to give to customers who buy a Roxy 100ml or 50ml fragrance. Once they're gone, they're gone. Bethany Hamilton's Stoked suntan lotion is "very waterproof", it lasts for up to 80 minutes whilst you're swimming away in the sea. However, we bet Bethany doesn't realize that her lip balm is pretty waterproof as well. One of the fffrozen team accidentally left their "Wild Berry" in their pocket and it ended up being washed, rinsed and spun at high speed in the washing machine. Amazingly, the lip balm came out totally OK (maybe thanks to the pretty clever seal in its case?)! It's half term from now until the end of October, it's unseasonably mild this Autumn and we can still go out without wearing a cost, but Christmas is coming up fast. We're wondering where to go snowboarding this year, we had to cancel our trip to the Pyrenees last Winter from lack of snow, so looks like we'll return to the Alps and go high up to Tignes. In 2003, Bethany Hamilton, a popular young American surfer, was attacked by a tiger shark, which bit off her left arm, dangling in the water as she was lying on her surfboard, waiting for the next wave. Not to be beaten by a 15-foot fish, Bethany has continued to surf and now inspires others who have met other physical challenges in life. She has produced her own fragrances - "Wired" (guys cologne) and "Stoked" (girls fragrance) which smell amazing and here at fffrozen, we're chuffed as little mint balls to announce that you can now buy these from us online in the UK! Yep, we followed the guys down to S.W. France, where winds and currents were strong - red flag flying nearly every day warning mere mortals not to attempt entering the sea. Time was the challenge here, the sea remained stubbornly flat at times and our own Russell Winter ran out of time in his heat. So, well done, you, Russell for pleasantly agreeing to sign autographs for your fans when all you wanted to do, we're sure, was continue hitting your surfboard to release the frustration. That's the good ole British spirit! After that, the rain came belting across the beach and the team from fffrozen ran for cover - sorry 'bout that, but hot chocolats chauds were waiting for us! We managed to sneak a day off work on Tuesday and watch the pros in action at Newquay! Trickey stuff that day with the surf breaking quickly, but that didn't stop the experts, oh no. It was lovely and sunny, but brrr..... the wind was a bit nip, coming straight at us across the sea from the North. Meanwhile next door at Perranporth, the lifeguards were doing a great job keeping people away from the riptides. Great work, guys, thanks for keeping us all safe, it was pretty impessive with the jetski herding people in, just like a sheepdog! At last the sun's appearing from behind the clouds - just in time for the Summer hols! It's now that you tell us you want to travel light, so we've now got small 10ml tube bottles which you can put in your pocket or bag, for just £9.50.
